FLOOZMAN IS A T.V CONCEPT

 

Somewhere at the heart of the financial system flows a mysterious and inexhaustible money source. Fred Looseman is among the very few who have found it. Like them, he has carried a long investigation, like them he has caught a glimpse of the truth and like them, as he approached the emanation origin, he has lost his memory…

 

Only yesterday, he was still the smart Worldwide Credit Corporation Chief Risk Officer and the president of the anti money laundering commission. Since his fall, he survives on the job the bank found him in a computer maintenance team. His family and friends have become estranged. Isolated, his faculties obscured, he only lives to mend the cash dispensers and the network which connects them up to the central computers. Sometimes, after long work hours, he happens to hear voices. Closing his eyes, he distinguishes prayers. Some are so clear and sincere that he drops his tools and starts to cry.

 

This is how he becomes Floozman. He comes to light and recovers his minds. His banker calls him on the phone and it is not about his overdraft because she remembers as well. They both know what Floozman has to do. He has the required resources and more. But this wealth is not his: it is the magical money of deliverance.

 

FLOOZMAN IS A TV CONCEPT

 

This document presents a specific concept behind a television game and its derived products. It will serve as a basis for a contractual framework aimed a commercial exploitation by the owner of the rights.

 

DEFINITIONS

 

«The prices» designates the goods (property and movables) as well as the access rights to services which selected candidates shall receive in return for their image rights when they are selected as the result of game progress.

 

«The production» designates the legal entity in charge of rights exploitation, game organization as well as management of all prices, contents and related rights.

 

«The game» designates the semantic, cultural and regulatory device put in place by the production in order to organize prices distribution as well as production and diffusion of the related contents.

 

«The winners» designates the individuals to whom the prices are granted pursuing to selection.

 

PRINCIPLE

 

The game presents deliverance by money. As part of this game, the production transfers property of prices to selected candidates in exchange for the rights to produce and broadcast contents related to the transformation of the candidate’s life by these prices.

 

TREATMENT

 

The central concept of the game is the deliverance of the moral afflictions expressed by the candidates.

 

The production and its partners shall adhere to strong ethical and juridical rules in order to enforce law and assure the respect of person’s dignity in every aspect of the game. The notion of affliction will be particularly monitored so that only superficial moral affliction easily reversible with the enjoyment of prices shall be addressed.

 

The production will endeavour to present the exemplarity of related situations as well as different comments and interpretations, in the respect of right and persons dignity.

 

With the Floozman character or any other sponsor, the public participates into the liberation of an afflicted candidate trough three main stages.

 

1)    Application selection (prayers)

2)    Floozman’s intervention and prices ceremony (deliverance)

3)    Life of candidates after prices delivery (life after deliverance).

 

The actual power of Floozman can be controlled by the public with a transparent voting device.

 

APPLICATIONS SELECTION

 

Processing of an application by the production is subjected to a contract.

 

The final selection of the candidates to whom prices are granted takes place on the basis of pre selected applications. These applications can be subjected to contents production and distribution via different media.

 

These applications can be called prayers in the context of the game.

 

During the selection phase, applications are submitted to a jury appointed by the production. The content typically associated to an application can be made up of a presentation and commented interviews.

 

The deliberations of the jury are subjected to authorized diffusion via different media. The selection criteria are aligned with the theme and the objectives of the game.

 

Only the applications indicating a real moral pain and signifying the will of a relief by means of donation are taken into account, in the respect of the law and person’s dignity.

 

Among the eligible candidates, the jury selects those with whom the production will establish an addendum to the contracts per which the candidate receives prices in exchange for extended image rights.

 

The vote of the public contributes to the selection according to transparent rules.

 

The jury can be led to interview a candidate at any time during the life of the contract, as part of the production of new contends or during direct shows.

 

FLOOZMAN’S INTERVENTION

 

This phase presents the Floozman character as he appears in the written works (in particular “Floozman saves a dog”; “Floozman saves a tech”; “Floozman and the old lady”) or any other character or sponsor in charge of presenting prices on behalf of the production.

 

The intervention is aimed at transferring tangibly and immediately a substantial part of the prices so that the winner can quickly take the actions required eliminate the causes of the afflictions mentioned in the candidature documents, taking into account any constraints and in the respect of law and persons dignity.

 

The intervention can be put on stage either at TV premises or in a different place. The character or the sponsor can appear at any time in the winner environment or in any other place, without notification, in the respect of the law and persons dignity.

 

The production reserves the right to process and manage as a live report the intervention of the Floozman character or the sponsor with the winner and her/his circle.


 

LIFE AFTER THE LIBERATION

 

Beyond the price presentation and during the life of the contract, the production can develop and diffuse contents related to the winner’s life and to the consequences of their new wealth.

 

Besides, as per the terms of the contract which binds them to the production, the winners will make themselves available to participate into a defined promotional communication program including various types of contribution such as: T.V. programs, interviews, press articles, internet sites, game auto promotion, national and international tours…
